Learn how to make pasta at home with this intriguing cooking class in Florence.
This course allows participants the opportunity to work with the various types of ingredients necessary for making fresh pasta, is aimed for those who wish to discover the techniques and secrets behind the ancient Italian tradition of homemade pasta making.
Participants will learn directly from the Chef, the techniques used in working with pasta, including using the polling pin and machine.
Altogether, participants will learn to prepare fresh egg pasta and freshwater pasta, along with three different sauces and a typical Italian dessert. The course is ended with a lunch of the prepared dishes in a wine cellar.
The menu:
- Fresh water pasta – Tagliatelle
- Fresh egg pasta – Tortelli di patate
- Raw tomato sauce
- Mushrooms sauce
- Olive oil, garlic and peperoncino
- Panna cotta
Vegetarian/vegan options are available, but please advise when booking. Also, please tell us any dietary restrictions (lactose intolerant, no pork, no seafood, etc.).
Meeting point: Florence, via dei Velluti 20 red(*) (Google Maps). You must ring the bell.
(*)Please note that streets in Florence have red numbers and blue numbers. Shops and commercial activities usually have red numbers.

Here are some important things to know in order to ensure you have the best possible experience with your tour:
- Lessons can be held in English, Spanish or Italian.
You can cancel the cooking class up to 30 days before the scheduled date and get a full refund. For cancellations between 30 and 15 days before the scheduled date, you will get a 50% refund. No refund is issued for late cancellations.
